Who we are
VanceIQ (“VanceIQ”, “we”, “us”) is a custom software and AI development company. We operate this website, vanceiq.com, and we are responsible for the personal information collected through it. If you have a question about this policy, email sales@vanceiq.com or use our contact page.
Information we collect
Information you give us
- Contact form. When you send us a message, we collect your name, email address, company name (optional), and the content of your message.
- Emails you send us. If you email us directly, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message.
- Email updates. Where we offer email updates, we collect the email address you subscribe with.
Information collected automatically
- Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used. It collects information such as the pages you visit, how you arrived at the site, approximate location (derived from your IP address), device and browser type, and interactions such as clicks and scrolling. Google Analytics uses cookies to do this.
- Server and security logs. Our hosting provider records technical information for each request, such as IP address, browser user agent, the page requested, and the time of the request. These logs are used to keep the site secure and reliable.
We do not ask for, and ask you not to send us, sensitive information such as health or financial account details.
How we use information
- To reply to your enquiry, discuss a potential project, and prepare proposals you ask for.
- To send email updates you have subscribed to. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To operate, secure, and troubleshoot the website.
- To understand which content is useful and improve the site.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
We do not sell your personal information, we do not use it for third-party advertising, and we do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing.
Legal bases for processing
Where data protection laws such as the GDPR require a legal basis, we rely on:
- Steps before a contract when you ask us about a project or proposal.
- Legitimate interests in responding to messages, understanding site usage, and keeping the site secure, balanced against your rights.
- Consent for email updates, which you can withdraw at any time.
- Legal obligation where we must keep or disclose information by law.
Who we share information with
We share personal information only with service providers that help us run the website and our business, and only as needed for them to provide their service:
- Vercel, which hosts the website and processes server logs.
- Resend, which delivers contact form submissions to our inbox by email.
- Google, which provides Google Analytics.
- Cloudinary, which delivers images on the site. Like any website, it receives your IP address and browser details when your browser loads an image.
- Our email provider, which stores the messages we receive.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case this policy will continue to apply to your information.
Cookies
The public website uses only analytics cookies set by Google Analytics:
- _ga distinguishes one browser from another. It expires after 2 years.
- _ga_<ID> keeps track of the current session. It expires after 2 years.
We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or opt out of Google Analytics on all websites with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Blocking analytics cookies does not affect how the site works.
International transfers
Our service providers may process information in countries other than the one you live in, including the United States. Where required, these transfers are covered by appropriate safeguards, such as the standard contractual clauses in the providers’ data processing terms.
How long we keep information
- Enquiries are kept for as long as we need them to respond and to manage any resulting business relationship, then deleted.
- Analytics data is kept according to our Google Analytics data retention setting and then deleted automatically.
- Server logs are kept for a short period by our hosting provider for security and troubleshooting.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, for example under the GDPR in the EU and UK or India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may have the right to:
- access the personal information we hold about you;
- correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete;
- delete your information;
- object to or restrict certain processing;
- receive a copy of your information in a portable format;
- withdraw consent at any time, without affecting earlier processing.
To exercise any of these rights, email sales@vanceiq.com. We will respond within 30 days and may need to verify your identity first. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, including HTTPS encryption for all traffic and restricted access to the systems that hold it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
This website is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our website or practices change. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date above, and for significant changes we will make that clear on this page.
